It is mind-compelling how far a man can get with simple parlor tricks. Granted he is preying on those eager to believe, it is still an unbelievable feat. This reminds me of the old “quarter behind the ear” trick I used to pull on my sister when she was 5. What’s sad is that she discovered it was a trick after only a week. What’s even sadder is that many of Sai Baba’s audience haven’t been 5 for almost a century.
Discoveries like this prove how much critical thinking is needed in this world. There are too many people out there that are narrow-minded enough to believe in almost anything that is thrown at them. I start to understand why so many people are anti-religion, because it slows down the growth of society worldwide. It has become a necessity for believers to willingly become skeptical.
